List three character traits about the main character in your Guided Reading book. For each trait you list, provide textual evidence to support your traits.
For example...
If I were to say a character trait of Harry Potter is that he is brave, I would support it with something from the chapters I have just been reading to prove that to be true. (i.e. he stood up to Professor Snape, he scared away the Dementors...etc.)
Jeffrey Magee Is brave because he ran off into the middle of nowhere. He's also friendly because he didn't know this girl Amanda and he ran by and said hi. He's also promising because he told Amanda that he promises he'll bring back the book. Jeffrey is restless because he is always up and running.

Maniac is very talented with his hands.Maniac caught and punted a football in a spiral using one hand.he likes books.He begged a girl for a book and after a while she gave it to him.He is not afraid of anything.He went into Finsterwalds back yard and sat on his front steps where no kid will dare to go.

2. friendly- Freak and Mighty were playing with the orinthopterfor almost an hour.

Mrs.Olinski is confident that The Souls are going to win the Championships and is not worried at all. She is sarcastic because she was being sarcastic when she answered the question that the commissioner asked. Mrs.Olinski is also hopeful that her team The Souls will win.

2. frustrated. Because she wants her new neighbors to get there so she can meet them.
3. tying to tell but cant. Catherina is made because her brother said hi to a mean kid that not not respect her brother Davids disability. So them she is trying to tell her mom that he is very mean butt she dose not want to have Catherina's mom call the kids mom.

My character is Max from Freak the Mighty. His character traits are: discouraged because he is always frustrated with himself for not being smart. He is also clumsy because he is so big and he has no shoes.
